Janet, Teddy & Piper
Our lovely friend, Janet, has a heart of gold and is one of the most wonderful humans we are privileged to know. She has two adorable fur-kids, Teddy and Piper — both yellow Labs and both adopted through Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue (GGLRR). I was thrilled when Janet and her friend, Pam, booked a session with us last month for the Smile for a Cure fundraising campaign to raise money for the National Canine Cancer Foundation (NCCF). For any Basic Package session booked before September 30th, the entire $125.00 session fee is donated directly to the NCCF. If you are interested in booking a Smile for a Cure but are not in the San Francisco South Bay, visit the Smile for a Cure website and click the Find a Photographer! link on the homepage to find a participating photographer in your area.
For the session, we met up at the Penitencia Creek percolation ponds in San Jose for a late afternoon photo shoot. We all had a blast: They dogs splished and splashed and ran and romped to their hearts’ content. We peeps took a little break from the photography half-way through, sitting down for a scrumptious picnic while the pups–Teddy, Piper and Dahlia–enjoyed some doggie cupcakes from Biscuits pet boutique.
All in all, we wound up with nearly 200 finished images. I’ve posted a few of my favorite Janet, Teddy, Piper images, below. Tomorrow, stay tuned for some gorgeous images of Janet’s friend, Pam and her beautiful pitty mix, Dahlia:
